Hopefully it will become a long lasting tradition. The food and lodging are terrific but as anything else it's the people that make the difference. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I've been hunting a long time and hunting with Bob Howe is a relaxing, positive and informative experience. His knowledge and respect for all aspects of hunting and the animals he hunts is a wonderful example of the ethics all hunters should take note of.
I just got back from the weekend at Pine Grove where we had such a great time. We arrived really late, and the cabin couldn't have been more welcoming -- toasty warm and with lots of nice touches to make our stay comfortable. And Bob and Andrea made us feel so at home. I'm ready for a return trip already!

I've been going to Pine Grove Lodge now for several years with my grandson and brother.
Four of us recently stayed at Pine Grove for the weekend and it was the perfect spot to stay for whitewater rafting; only a 10-minute drive from North Country Rivers. They had all the ammenities including a cozy cabin, breakfast every morning, all the hot chocolate you could drink, a hot tub, and a fire pit for making S'mores. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it to anyone. Jarrad
We stayed in May and are going back again in a few weeks. Pine Grove is in the perfect spot for Atving or fishing / hunting. The owners treat you like family here! When we came back at 10pm after 225 miles of riding, we found them waiting up for us just to make sure we got back safe. Great value and great spot.
